The Road Infrastructure in North of Al Nassriya Package 02 (Main Infrastructure) was awarded to Boom Construction by the Public Works Authority to a Contract Amount of Two Hundred Ninety-Nine Million Six Hundred Thousand Qatari Riyals (Qar 299,600,000.00) with a Contract Duration of 610 Days plus 400days Maintenance.

The DN108 North of Al Nassriya Project Area covers approximately 192 hectares located predominantly within the Al Rayyan Municipality with a small north-eastern section extending into the Umm Salal Mohammed Municipality. It is approximately 23km North-west central Doha within the Qatar Area Referencing system (QARS) Zone 51 Al Themaid District, within the extreme north-eastern corner of the Site within QARS Zone 71 Al Kharatiyat. The DN 108 area will be comprised of approximately 806 Residential Villas, 4 Commercial plots, 7 Mosques, 6 Mosque, 35 Open spaces/ parks, 3 schools, 5 Government, and 44 utility when fully built.

The Scope of Works for this project are summarized as follows: Grading Works (50,249m2), Earthworks (1,033,928 m3) Interface with other projects, Topographical Survey, Site Clearance, Temporary & Permanent Roads (340,600 m2), Foul Water Line (29,337 lm), Street lighting (Interim) (895 poles), Geotechnical and Environmental, Kahramaa Electricity (240,800 lm), Kahramaa Water (22,195 lm), Telecommunication, Surface Water (3,600lm) and Construction Phasing & Traffic Maintenance.

The Project has four important stages. Key Stage 4 is the Completion of all deep utilities and grading, Key Stage No. 5 is the completion of Site Plots for handing over to Plot owners (500plots to be turned over to the owners), Key Stage No.6 is the completion of Site Plots for handing over to Plot Owners (259 plots) & Key Stage 7 is the completion of the remaining Works.

To be able to achieve the completion of all stages, the Contract requires a 24x7 (24 hours a day) work schedule.
