Project Details

This Roads Infrastructure in West Muaither (Al Manaser) – Package 3 project was awarded to Boom Construction Company by the Public Works Authority to a Contract amount of Four Hundred Seventy One Million One Hundred Sixteen Thousand One Hundred Eighty Eight Qatari Riyals and Four Dirhams (QR 471,116,188.04) with project duration of 1,096 days plus 400 days maintenance period.

DW002.P03– Roads and Infrastructure in West Muaither (Al Manaseer) is located within Zone 55 of the Al Rayyan Municipality. DW002 P03 covers an area of approximately 194 hectares of Doha West. The area is a mix of existing low to medium density housing with associated, schools, parking, mosques and commercial and government centres. The project is bounded by Muaither North Street to the north, DW002 P02 to the east, and Qutaiba Bim Muslim Street to the south.

The main objective of this project is to enhance the area by developing roads infrastructure including kerbing, lighting, footways, streetscape, improving surface and foul water drainage and providing TSE network for the area. General objectives is include expansion of network capacity, improve traffic flow, increase safety, reduce congestion, minimise travel times and minimise potential environmental impacts.
