Project Details

The Central Doha and Corniche Beautification Project was awarded to Boom Construction Company by the Public Works Authority to a Contract amount of Five hundred Sixty Three Million Five Hundred Thirty Two Thousand Five Hundred Twenty Nine Qatari Riyals (QR 563,532,529.00) with project duration of 660 days. It covers downtown Doha from Al Corniche Road to C-Ring Road. The project covers the institutional, government and prestige developments between Al Corniche Road and A-Ring Road, and the commercial, residential and business developments between A-Ring Road and C-Ring Road.

The project objective of this Package 3 is to reconstruct and upgrade the road, infrastructure and beautification works for three (3) internal zones and four (4) main corridors (roads) sections as below:

• Zone 6
• Zone 7
• Al-Asmakh Street
• Grand Hamad Street
• Jabr Bin Mohamed Street
• Ali Bin Abdullah Street

Boom Construction Company will provide the guarantees and insurances as prescribed within the Conditions of Contract. BCC will also provide the Engineer’s site facilities and services, testing, surveys, investigations, traffic requirements, dewatering, over pumping, sign boards, barricades, etc. BCC will provide the Contractor’s site facilities and services, temporary works, ascertain the location of underground utilities/services, works related to the provision, protection and/or relocation of utilities, compliance with QCS 2014 requirements, preparation and implementation of Health and Safety Plans, Quality Assurance Plans, Sustainability Plans, Environmental Plans/Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMP), Traffic Management Plans, Stakeholder Management Plans, etc.
